In the summer of 2010, the Phoenix Bar (Broughton Street, Edinburgh) caught fire, consequently the sign went up in flames.
As a result of this, Tom Neil was commissioned to create a new sign (see above), in effect, raising the PHOENIX from the ashes.
I am an expressionist/surrealist artist based in Central Edinburgh. The work is abstract as well as figurative. I paint in any medium. The subject matter is extremely varied. Commissions gladly undertaken.
Some of my works have been sold and as a result I have patrons from Glasgow, London, Edinburgh, Canada, USA, Germany, Australia and Amsterdam.
